R. S. Murray is a U.S. military veteran with more than twenty-two years of combined service in the Army and Air Force. After retiring from active duty, he transitioned into technology, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science with a concentration in Cyber and Network Security from ECPI University, where he graduated summa cum laude. For the past seven years, he has served as a Systems Administrator on a global application support team for a multinational telecommunications conglomerate.

His background in high-stakes military operations and complex technical environments shapes the authenticity and intensity of the stories he writes. Beyond his professional life, Stephen is a visual artist, amateur astronomer, and dedicated astrophotographer, often spending long nights under the stars capturing deep-sky wonders. He also enjoys cooking, fishing, gaming, and creating new memories with family and friends. Married for more than twenty-two years, he credits his wife’s steadfast support as one of the foundations of his creative journey.
